apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Ferm Wallpaper Gives Home Office Depth

Anna of Newburgh, NY has been renovating her home for quite some while now, and her back room turned home office has made some huge leaps forward. What started as a dirty old room was turned into a bright oasis with a nice coat of white paint. Anna even painted the wooden floor white which really brightens up the space.

But to avoid too much of a static museum feel, Anna plastered black-on-black fir wallpaper from Ferm – the same company used by AT San Francisco Anh-Minh and Maryse Coziol. We love it. You?

Her beautiful desk was her father's old drawing table, whose drawer front she stained black and legs swapped out for Ikea Vika Moliden legs.

The print looks more like trees down the side of a snow mountain than ferns. I really like it!
