Bulthaup Slatted Extractor Hood

Now this is a range hood. The Bulthaup B3 slatted hood changes the look of your typical range hood from flat to one that is pitched at a 50 degree angle. This allows for increased headroom when compared to standard hoods. Additionally, movable slats cover the intake of the exhaust. Closed when off, open when on.

For you car fans out there, this reminds us of a Porsche spoiler that opens up after you get up to speed on the highway. Not bad company for a kitchen appliance.

Sounds perfect for a modern kitchen. To be frank, I could really use one of these pieces as I don't have doors to separate my kitchen from the rest of the rooms and you can imagine the effect of that. Would I find something like this in Maytag parts?
