Breakfast Gadget Makes Mornings Go By Smoothly

080608_tf_vlinebreakfast01.jpgTrying to get a healthy breakfast in the morning is a difficult task on some—ok, most—days. If we ever do get up early to fix a meal, it’s cold by the time we shower, walk the dog, get dressed and freak out for 15 minutes over where we left our keys. This product from V-Line just wants to help us get some warm coffee and toast without scorching it.

080608_tf_vlinebreakfast02.jpgWith a glass toaster on the rear, and an induction cooker on the front, this gadget can make toast and boil your java at the same time. The see-through glass element of the toaster is just right for those who always seem to forget their toast while looking for the aforementioned missing keys. Just a glance will tell you if you’ve burned your buns.

The breakfast gadget, we’re not sure what else to call it, was designed by Thibault Masclet for Trophies Design De Dietrich 2008.

No doubt it’s good looking, and small to boot, but is it something you might use?

FREAK OUT OVER WHERE YOU LEFT YOUR KEYS!?!?!?! At AT, isn't one supposed to put it on a landing strip, or the same place every time so this doesn't happen? We had a roommate in college who was near sighted and and always did this even though there was a key holder right when you walked in the door. The other two of us knew where our keys were so we could have left without her, but jeez, when was she gonna learn? She's in her mid 40s now and I gave her the AT book for Xmas and she got to about week 4, but was grateful for the book and has cleared out a buncha stuff.
