Dyson is on the march again. With the launch of his new Stowaway Canister Vacuum just a few months back, Dyson is set to release a totally new product, the Airblade hand dryer, next month. Apparently some readers feel put out that Dyson has copied a design that has been in Japan for some time, and, indeed, there is no mention of any precurson on his website. See the video here. The truth will out on June 26th!




It looks like it would be really easy to pick up germs with this machine.

I used a version of this machine (from another manufacturer) this weekend while visiting Tom Sawyer's Island at Disneyland (of all places). It did a great job of drying my hands quickly. I assume that with the high volume of hands it's responsible for drying at Disneyland, the design must be fairly reliable and not likely to easily transfer germs.
