Dyson DC31: Lets Men Vacuum Clean With Power

070109_rg_dc31_01.jpgGetting your SO to do a bit of cleaning around the house can be sometimes problematic. In essence, that's the reasoning behind the Dyson brand of vacuum cleaners. They give a lot of manly attributes to vacuum cleaners so that male sensibilities aren't upset when we start doing a bit of cleaning, using no less than the world's fastest motor to suck up all of the grime and dust.

070109_rg_dc31_02.jpgIt's not hard to see Sir James Dyson's mission behind his products. Letting men do the cleaning with a lot of testosterone. When your top of the line model is called the Animal, there is just no way to disregard this. If you are faced with a spouse, boyfriend, roommate or family member that just won't do any cleaning, maybe this is a way for him to actually like doing it without really acknowledging it. Most men who see the models want to try them out at least.

070109_rg_dc31_03.jpgDyson recently unveiled a new motor. With epithets such as "the world's fastest motor" and gun-shaped instruments, it's hard for men not to see the appeal behind Dyson's instruments of cleanliness. The motor in the new cleaner is descended from the Airblade, and it is said that it can deliver 10 minutes of "high constant suction". The rotational speeds of this new motor vary between 88K and 104K RPM. Dyson hopes to harness this technology for other devices, such as electric cars.

The world's fastest motor is included in the Dyson DC31, a hand-held vacuum cleaner. With 104,000 RPM, this makes this motor about 10 times faster than the one found in a Boeing 747 and five times quicker than in an F1 racing car. The DC31 is just the first product that will use the new motor. For now, it's available in the UK and comes also in the Animal variety. oh, yes, indeed. i am a man, and i love cleaning with my dc-23 canister. i actually have to show my wife how to use the telescope wand every time she wants to clean. i think Dyson intentionally makes the machine complex-looking to appeal to the gadget-philes.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE my Dyson (DC18) and managed to convince my mother, who has Arthritis, to get the Dyson 24.

I took a 200 mile trip to visit my mother bringing my Dyson with me, to show her how well my Dyson worked. I only vacuumed her living room, about 5 hours after the cleaning woman came over w/ her own vacuum to clean. My mother could NOT believe all the junk that came up w/ my Dyson!!

We went to Target and she bought one that day! She chose the DC-24 because it's lightweight, easy to manuever and appreciates the handle that slides into the back of the vacuum for storage.

Recently, my sister-in-law bought the Dyson Animal (DC-28) and all three of us swear we'll never buy another type of vacuum cleaner again!!

Dyson Rocks!
