We like tea, but we hate bitter tea. We also hate the idea of wasting our time and our electricity. Why heat the water to boiling, just to have to wait for it to get back down to the appropriate temperature. Our current setup, a hotpot and a coffee thermometer is a little... well it's less than elegant. We could use a little technology to help us out, and here enters the Response Tea Kettle.
First, let us preface that this is a UK manufacturer, and we're unaware of a US model. But what a great concept, a tea kettle with multiple temperature settings that alerts us to what temperature it is by the color of the kettle. Of course, those tea savvy Brits would come up with this first. Anyone know of a similarly chic US model?

Late enough that probably no one will even see this, but President's Choice (Loblaws/Superstore) in Canada has a version of this.
