Sensor Paper Towel Dispenser

2007_06_25 towel-matic.jpgHere is another sensor operated dispenser for your kitchen. We have blogged about the Simple Human sensor soap pump and trash can before, so the iTouchless paper towel dispenser just adds to the collection. Wave your wet hand in front of the sensor and you only have to come in contact with the sheet of paper towel that you need. We would be really interested to see one of these in person, as we have a hard enough time pulling a sheet off of a normal vertical paper towel holder without bracing it with one hand so it doesn't fall over.

Avaialble here for $55.99.

People really use paper towels at home to dry their hands? How wasteful.

Interesting that the most hands-on room of a house would be the site of all these hands-free gadgets. I do like these in public restrooms-but your own kitchen? crazy/lazy.

They have something like that in the restrooms where I work. They give only a pre-set amount.

The big joke is that next they're go in the stalls, ala Cheryl Crow.
