Siemens has taken the guesswork out of the cooking experience with their automated features, including a boil-start function that does what one would typically do to get a pot boiling. The heat is cranked to high, and then set at a reasonable temperature once boiling begins, all without having to lift a finger. And no worries about accidentally turning it on with a brush of your hand, there are childproof, cleaning, and cooking "freeze" settings that keep you from burning yourself.
