SweepEZE Vacuuming Dust Pan

2007_04_04 sweepeze dustpan.jpgSometimes pulling out the vacuum is overkill. Most times using a broom and dust pan would be the quickest and easiest solution, especially in the kitchen, but the thing that bugs us about using the broom is that nagging line of dirt that never wants to make its way into the dust pan. The SweepEZE automatic dust pan is the tech solution to that problem.

An infrared beam across the front of the SweepEZE determines when there is debris that is ready to be sucked into the internal canister. Once it's all up, the vacuum turns off, no buttons, no fuss. We would love to have this built into one of our kitchen cabinets, with a hole in the cabinet baseboard that we could just sweep crumbs into and let the SweepEZE take care of getting it off the floor.

Available here for $59.99

...or you could get a black and decker broom with the vacuum built in. without that huge block!

Why not just clean up the dust line with a damp paper towel or dust rag?
