Sleep Blaster Alarm Turns Off When You Yell

1609sleepblaster01.jpgAre you a grouchy morning person? A person who tends to fall asleep with their laptop nearby, bedside? Someone who like to yell at things? If you said "yes" to any or all of these questions, the Sleep Blaster Alarm application may be for you, my friend...

1609sleepblaster02.jpgSleep Blaster is an alarm clock application that gives you the option of waking up to your favourite (or least fav) iTunes track. The alarm responds to vocal commands of any sort, so "jusssonemoreminute" will work just as well as "#$%@(*#!" if your name is Yosemite Sam, and your computer will turn off.

For those of you of more a sensitive, tactile nature, you can just turn off the alarm hitting the space key. Deep sleepers with a knack for slumbering through the sweet sounds of muzak can set Sleep Blaster to literally blast you awake with an audio explosion, while the application also offers to lull you back to sleep hours later using a gentle coastal waves sound generator. The $8 fee seems almost worth purchasing simply for the sake of installing it onto a friend's laptop for practical joke purposes...puhahaha!

Great, I was in need of this a couple of nights ago when I couldn't find my cell phone (which I use as my alarm clock), I sure would have paid for the app (in this case I used good old free, early & loud mom plus a landline to get awake on time).
Sadly [for me] it only works on Mac OSX, anyone know of a PC alternative?
