Do not adjust your monitor. That was my first instinct. Well, that and taking off my glasses to rub my eyes. It seems that the pixel, those tiny square building blocks of images, can bring us wallpaper, funny eye masks and now a low tech to high tech back to low tech transformation of jewelry.
Mike and Maaike: Pixels as Jewelry
Created by Googling famous jewelry pieces, designers Mike and Maaike then 'adjusted' low res images further into even more low res images represented in leather for a completely new interpretation of said pieces. The result is 8 bit beauty with a bit of 'huh?'
