Many companies, like Incase, use neoprene or wetsuit material to make their laptop cases. If you can get your hands on a second-hand wetsuit, you could make your very own laptop case.

Good Questions: Printer Storage Dilemma

2008-3-14cindyprinter.jpg
Dear Unplggd,
I just moved into my first purchased apt and it's not huge so I'm trying to find furniture that serves a dual purpose. I purchased my printer 2 years ago (this might of been my first mistake) and am now having trouble finding something that will house my printer and serve as a nightstand in my bedroom. I found this EQ3 storage cabinet that would fit my printer perfectly and it has a file cabinet that works well with it (so I can have 2 nightstands) but it comes from Canada so I'd have to wait about 3 months. Should I just bite the bullet and wait the three months or does anyone have any suggestions on a printer cabinet that will hold this printer? I know it's not a printer that people tend to have in their home.

Any suggestions are welcome...thanks!
Cindy

Survey: Do You Have a Record Player?

2008-3-12recordplayer.jpg
We have one, but it doesn't get used as often as we would like. We loved some of the DJ's spaces we've seen, where the record player is as much of a design choice as the furniture.

But, we wondered how many people out there have record players and use them? If you do use them, when? All the time, or just on special occasions?

Take our survey below, and let us know your thoughts on records in the comments.
