When we saw that Missy Suicide, co-founder of SuicideGirls, named Apartment Therapy as her pick over at The Daily Beast we knew we could muster up the gumption to ask her for an office tour. And lo and behold, Missy was gracious enough to allow us a peek inside a creative space that balances elements of vibrant playfulness with a sense of professional focus indicative of the site's popularity and success.

What’s on your desk/computer desktop at this moment?
My Sigg bottle of water, cup of coffee, a proof of the new SuicideGirls: Beauty Redefined book, my MacBook Pro, my to do list, iphone, the sonos controller, pens, and a stuffed cupcake.
Any tips or advice about office décor, layout or organization?
A work space should be fun but not too over stimulating. Put up things that you love and are inspired by. Keep things tidy, before I leave each night I straighten my desk and start my to do list for the following day so I can start fresh in the morning.

Am I the only Apartment Therapy reader that knows S.G. is pretty darn close to being a porn site??? A NWS notice might be good idea before the link.

Except there's nothing NWS in these pictures.

by "the link" I meant the embedded link to the suicide girls website in the first paragraph............

I know about the Suicide Girls, but then again, I'm a bad person. Avoid Suicide Girls links if you're at the office!
Nice office space. Next time you go there for a tour, call me.

Suicide Girls isn't porn. Chill out. If anyone is THAT concerned, they probably shouldn't be playing online at work in the first place.
Love SG, loooove the office space.

1. I didn't say it was porn...i said it was pretty close and thus probably a NWS/NSFW site... I'd venture to say that nude, tattooed women in compromising poses would translate to porn for most folks (even though I agree that SG is NOT a porn site)
2. Putting up a NWS/NSFW disclaimer ahead of a link to an external website with such material is general common courtesy in the blogosphere.....
3. If folks didn't "play online", sites like AT would likely not be so successful so.....
