If every house in the United States were to replace its refrigerator with an Energy Star model, the US would be an energy exporting nation.
That is what the April issue of Dwell magazine states in a review of six different models. Providing a good aesthetic comparison of the six offerings as well as a commentatry on the power consumption and functionality differences between them, it is almost clear how a refrigerator can get a $12000 price tag....almost.
