Thanks for the link to the article as we are currently considering purchasing a newer TV.

However, the first tip you offer:

Is conflicting with the Tip the article offers

>>"A digitized Pixar movie like Cars or Toy Story is easy to make look great, Silver says, but doesn’t offer real-life brights, darks and dynamic range of colors the human eye sees every day"

They suggest to bring something else.
