Commercials are the bane of our TV-addicted existence. They stink so much to watch that somebody had to go and invent TiVo so we didn't have to sit through one more rugged SUV bouncing over rocky terrain in those lame car spots. Thankfully for all of you commercial-skippers out there, I don't have a DVR and I catch awesome, thought-provoking advertisements like this one:
As part of Sprint's "Now Network" campaign to advertise the 4G network, this commercial highlights some random facts about what people are doing rightthissecond with their mobile phones all around the world. Click through the "Read more..." link below to watch.

But do we know that those statistics are actually factual? I have a strong suspicion that more than 26% of people have never heard of Twitter.
Although I think the commercial is really cool (I love stats), I find the fact that they used 'twittered' instead of the proper 'tweeted' extremely annoying. That's just a personal pet-peeve though (but seriously, how many birds do you know that have twittered?)
I've been meaning to watch this commercial for several days, but didn't get around to seeing it until it was on during LOST last night. Great share.

I loved this commercial. It was so clean and I love interesting stats like that, however true those stats may be. I wonder what percentage of people who watched this commercial looked up Jaime the talking boxer or the miracle banana diet?
I probably loved it because I also loved the Royksopp video for the song "Remind me" and this student project below.

Thanks for posting it. Now I have to get other people to watch it too!

Did the narrator say "twittered on twitter?" Wouldn't it be "tweeted on twitter?"
