I consider myself to be a very bad decision maker. For instance, in the drive-thru line, I think I know exactly what I want, but I'll inevitably change my mind 4,000 times before I approach the speaker and I am forced to shout out an order and commit to a decision. So when forced with a decision like whether I would first give up sex or the internet in my life, you can pretty much consider my bedroom (where I do most of my surfing) a drive-thru (cue inappropriate jokes about promiscuity here). But what about everybody else? Intel took a survey to compare the results of men vs. women when asked whether they would rather give up sex or the internet, and the results are...

According to the recent "Internet Reliance in Today's Economy" survey conducted by Harris Interactive* and sponsored by Intel Corporation, while 46 percent of the women were willing to engage in abstinence verses losing their Internet, only 30 percent of the men surveyed were willing to do likewise.

The U.S. survey, which queried 2,119 adults last month, found that the gap grew even wider for both men and woman who were 18 to 34 years old. For woman, the percentage of those willing to skip the sheets in favor of the Web rose to 49 percent, while it climbed to 39 percent for men. And for women 35 to 44 years old, the figure jumped to 52 percent.

The survey also revealed that 65 percent of adults feel they cannot live without Internet access, and even more—71 percent—responded that it is important or very important to have Internet-enabled devices, such as laptops, netbooks and mobile Internet devices (MIDs) that can provide them with real-time updates on important issues. This is a good question. Apparently it seems like many people decide to ignore their wife and focus on the internet. Especially playing online games. Do so and you`ll wake up one day alone, and with another guy shagging your wife while you kill monsters trying to reach an orgasm of happiness. So if you ask me, I wouldn`t give up sex for anything in the world. Not even for drugs or legal herbs or similar things.
