But your grandparents and other non-techie friends and family still need your new address and couldn't tell an E-mail alert from a screen saver...

For all of your non-tech friends, you don't need to get out ink-and-paper or—gasp!—stamps to write them a flesh-and-pulp letter. You just need to have a PayPal account with $1 in it.

SnailMailr lets you type a letter up to four pages long on their Web site and mail it first-class anywhere in the US for just one electronic dollar. You can format your letter and include pictures and even go over four pages for a little extra charge. Your letter will be sent with your addressee and return address information on the envelope, along with a SnailMailr logo (which can be "removed" for $0.15).

No registration is necessary to get started, so just hop over to the Web site to finally get those housewarming party invites out! As a bonus, SnailMailr uses
