Using Google to Manage Out-Of-Control Holiday Mailings for Free

It's an awesome treat to get a Christmas card in the mail from somebody long-forgotten in your life, like a childhood friend or a distant cousin's cousin. But on the other end of that, you know Suzy (who sat next to you in Art class) has to have an enormous address book of friends and family that she i9s constantly updating with the latest contact info. Sounds like a hassle, yeah? Well The Official Google Blog wants to remind you that you can be a Suzy Homemaker too and send out a long list of season's greetings free with Google Doc's updated address survey forms, holiday postcards and mailing labels...

In Google Docs, just click File > New > From Template to be taken to the main template gallery (it's worth a look!). Click the "Holiday" category to see just the holiday templates, or you can tab through to filter results by product. Pick the design you like and edit it for your needs.

We love the email-able mailing address survey. It seems like such an easy way to get all your contacts straight, not just for sending holiday cards.
