Call us easily entertained. We're still trying to get a grasp of it, but a minute of playing around with voet cranf ∞ color synthAxis has us completely immersed. The free software generates complimentary colors, creates color spectrums and just might assist you in coming up with that perfect color scheme for your interior decor...

These are a couple of initial complimentary color generations we made when toying around with the software. You can bet we'll be sinking quite a bit more time into the software and its helpful tutorial to learn the ins and outs. If you want to come along and try to help figure it out, visit voet cranf ∞ color synthAxis and give it a go.

Kuler (kuler.adobe.com) is a much slicker and more useful in my opinion. And though designed to be used by graphics professionals like me, it could easily be used for coming up with the best color to go with that avacado fridge.
Or that perfect shade of white to go with that other shade of white.

I'm also a graphic designer and I agree that Kuler has a much better interface! You can apply basic color rules to a single hue, and come up with a scheme, thus taking the guess work out of what goes with what! You can also upload an image and grab tons of different schemes from it, using the same rules....no Color Theory Classes required!
