We've all seen those sweet multi-monitor setups like this geeky numbered setup, our own Gregory's double-truck vertical action, and this roundup of the biggest and baddest multi-monitor setups just to name a few. But the more we saw, we started to notice that some of these monitors had some sweet wallpaper image that stretched seamlessly across the two (or three, or six or eight) monitors. So where does one get such bad ass super high res wallpaper images? We did a little legwork...
Smashing Magazine featured a great selection of specific images (mostly nature-related) to use for dual-monitor setups that you can check out

Thanks. Our office is upgrading to dual monitors in '09, so I have this page bookmarked!

if you're willing to pay for great talent, check out digitalblasphemy.com. he has some free stuff, but it's $25/yr for a subscription to everything. he does dual and triple monitor wallpapers, and also widescreen. it's all amazing... i've been using his desktops for probably 8-9 years.

Another great place to look if you're decent at editing photo sizes is Flickr's advanced photo search. http://www.flickr.com/search/advanced/
You can find Creative Commons photos and edit them to your liking at the correct resolution. There are a LOT of gems there and it's all free in the name of art.
Sort of involved, but if you try a little bit you can find and make something that's very you in a few minutes.

Hi All,
What suggestions do you have for effectively displaying these wallpapers on my dual monitor setup? The standard windos xp desktop setup duplicates the same image on both screens.
Thanks!
