Eject Powerstrip

2008_03_19 eject powerstrip.jpgOn one hand, we think this concept is great as we always find ourselves stepping on the other plugs in order to keep the powerstrip down when pulling out an individual plug. On the other hand, incorporating a pedal into a power bar is not really conducive to a small power bar that is easy to hide away. There is an energy conservation benefit to this concept though...

Stepping on a pedal and ejecting a plug shuts down power to that socket similar to some other energy saving power bars we have seen before so unnecessary energy consumption is addressed. They just have to do something about all that wasted space, four sockets in such a huge bar just doesn't seem like a good trade to us.

this might be good for those with limited mobility, but i think it's a waste of space.
