How many times have we been in need of an extension cord and power strip, but then discovered you didn't have enough cord length and outlets? We hate exposed wiring and cables anyhow. Free Lines approaches the powerstrip problem with an ingenious and attractive customizable snap and plug modular system, using different length wires with outlet blocks, and almost has us believing we wouldn't mind them visible around the house. The Free Lines are actually composed of shorter cables that can be snapped off or onto one another for shorter or longer distances, and each block is even wall mountable. Our only worry about this concept is about in regards to the safety of the connection between wires. Here's to hoping to a wireless solution instead.[via Yanko Design]
