Knicks Cable Holder

2007-10-31-knickscableholder.jpgOops... we've all had it happen, the cable drops behind the desk. This little clip lets you keep that from happening, and your cable will always be where you left it.

The Knicks Cable Holder clamps onto the edge of your desk, and gives your cord a resting spot, perfect for laptop chargers or peripheral USB cables.

It even comes in two sizes for varying cable widths. Available at Charles & Marie for $11.

You could do that with a binder clip, too. That approach was posted here a while ago.

I like the idea of that thing, but I'm just not paying $11 to deal with one cord. If it could handle a few cords at a time, then we could talk.

Any good hardware store carries stainless clamps in various sizes. They hold a few cords, looks cool and costs at the most a couple of dollars.

3M Command Strips has various size cable catchers that adhere well and are removable and work great. I'm yet to find many desks or tables that are small enough for a binder clip - or a wire that is big enough to fit thru it and stay there. The $4 for the command strip product is well worth it, its a pack of maybe a dozen. I use them for my cell phone charger, usb cords, razor charger.
