Powerstation Cable Organizer

Pretty cool. We think this might work well on a landing strip, that is if you have an electrical outlet nearby. We like how it organizes our devices, and if we were diligent, we'd always be able to find our cell phone.

2007-03-26-powerstation_add2.jpgThe Powerstation Cable Organizer features an internal power strip to hide all of your cables. Simply choose three of your most important devices and hide their cords inside. While the design is a little clunky, its organizing benefits far outweigh the less thought about design.

Available here in black or here in white.

SF ApartmentTherapy had a whole post on Charging Stations a while back: http://sanfrancisco.apartmenttherapy.com/sf/120706/audio-video-computer/charging-stations-015365

I'll echo what someone there said: "Seriously, it is kind of shocking that no one has come up with much nicer-looking and better-functioning designs."

But eet ees uglee, and when the devices aren't charging you'll have cords flopping down the side of the charging station.

I like the simple solution of designating a drawer in a console table/end table/nightstand/whatever as a charging station. Drill a hole in the back of the drawer and run all the charging cables through, or run a power strip through and plug the chargers into it.
