CES 2009: Hitachi's Prototype Hakuichi LCD Frames and Stands

Case and example are these various finished prototype LCD sets from Hitachi with beautiful wood finish frames done with gold leaf decorative accents and completed with a traditional fold-out screen which was specifically designed to operate as the display's mount and stand...

011609hitachi02.jpgThe Style Unlimited corner of Hitachi's booth consisted of about 7 displays with unique finishes and complimenting stands. Some were nicely executed, while others like the arc-shaped stand seemed dated despite the up-to-date technology sitting ontop.

011609hitachi04.jpgWe were having problems focusing on the display because the wagashi mochi displayed kept reminding us we were in dire need of lunch.
