Not sure why, but we haven't really gotten into the whole digital picture frame thing. We still make a point of burning our photos on CD and printing them out for use in our old-school frames. Maybe it's due to the same infallible desire for romanticism that makes us snail mail happy birthday catch-up letters rather than send an easy e-card. But even still, we might pick up one of these, because it does oh-so-much more than fade your kitten's face in and out.
The T.photo 720 comes in white or black and seems to be like some sort of frame-flip clock-calendar-alarm clock-radio-MP3 player hybrid. We'd stash this multi-tasker on a bedside table or desk to replace our no-tech wooden frames any day of the week.
Specs include a high-resolution (800x480) 7-inch LCD panel (with automatic color enhancement and a rotational sensor—more on that later), FM radio/MP3 playback and 2GB of internal memory. They've also included a MobileCard slot (for M2 and microSD cards) and a USB port for easy uploading.
But if you're just really into the digital photo frame craze, the T.photo kicks it up a notch by using NaturaTone intelligent skin color enhancement to create natural looking images and the display screen uses an AOS (Automatic Orientation sensor) to adjust landscape and portrait images.
