This incredible clock is called the Good Afternoon Clock and was designed the Mile Project, a studio from Japan. But how does this clock work? There are narrow slights in the bezel that surrounds the clock. These allow light to spread onto the glass surface. These rays of light act as the hour, minute and second hands of the clock. It sounds pretty simple, but it's something really neat that was incorporated into this clock.

To us, it sounds like a modern take on sundials. It's very simple, yet elegant. The designers wanted us to think of time as a ghost. It supposed to make us stop minuting our days and to take a more zen approach to time. We like this and we would like to have on of these. With clocks being integrated pretty seamlessly into cell phones and laptops, as well as a slew of other devices, we think that it's nice to see a clock that uses high tech mirrors in order to display the time. It masquerades as an analog clock when it actually isn't.
