Lexon Jet FM Clock Radio

052908lexon_jet.jpgWe've always been fans of Lexon's industrial design, especially their line of clock radios. Their Theo Williams designed Jet FM clock radio would definitely make our top list for alarm clocks, with a sleek form and throwback electroluminescent backlit dot matrix display and brushed anodized aluminum or shiny gold finishes that looks like something Pretty Tony might wear around his neck. There's even a plug-in adaptors for your mp3 player or earphones to accessorize....

The Jet clock works as a wall or desk unit and provides the usual list of info like time, day and date. It also displays temperature with the useful alarm feature for about $69 from Made in Design.

Looks like Unica Home carries quite a few Lexon products, including clocks, but not this model unfortunately =( Maybe if we all emailed them, they would import and start selling it?

I purchased another lexon clock radio from unica home, and ended up returning it as the sound quality was so horrible (even though it boasted "tivoli technology" or something of the sort). I was using it as a radio for my office at work, so I needed something that would perform relatively well. It looked amazing, though, so if you're going for looks, they're a great buy. But, if you think you're getting something you want to actually listen to some music on, pass.
