We're often frustrated in our search for stylish PC setups in homes that balance performance with an aesthetic eye, so we were very pleased with Fullex's dual monitor PC workspace which exhibits an eye for coordinating components with a visual constraint that makes the inclusion of a real candle-lit candelabra that much more stylish (old tech highlighting high tech). We'd love to see more PC setups like this to showcase here on Unplggd.
Other details we liked were subtle details that add up to the impression of an apartment filled with home tech, yet avoids the "tech toys on display" syndrome that often afflicts a single man's home (we know, we're helping a single friend decorate his loft and the message we're trying to hammer home is "subtlety"). Yes, a lot of the larger components like the TV is right there out in the open, but the furnishings and components have a harmonic relation to one another; the Philips set even operates as mood lighting, thanks to it's Ambilight feature.
Note how the Dali Piano Forte Subwoofer in the bedroom is placed in the corner, complementing the black and white bedding, floor lamp and side chair. Ceiling mounted speakers (and check out the gorgeous barrel-vault ceilings) keep the small bedroom clutter free, while additional components are hidden within the closet away from view. The best home tech in our book are ones you don't notice until someone turns them on.
The apartment is still a bit catalog sterile, missing the small pieces that help bring a personalization of space and sense of "home" (the owner admits to this deficiency, but explains these photos were taken immediately after renovating the space). But a few pieces of artwork here, some books there, and what you have is a bachelor's pad that doesn't seem like a stereotypical one...a space we think appeals to either gender. And that's not necessarily a small feat considering how many toys this small space hides within. Bravo!

This is amazing and the first house tour on Unplggd that i've had to comment on immediately... The dual screens with the candelabra is beyond cool.
There are serious boundaries being pushed here.

I love it. Where did they find the flower painting? I'm looking for something similar - care to share the artist's name or store name? Thanks!
