BlackBerry Watch

We have all heard the rumors and we didn't know how much more we could take. But alas! The word has officially come out: BlackBerry is releasing a watch in February 2010.

The Allerta InPulse Bluetooth companion watch will serve as just that - a companion. The watch doesn't actually make phone calls or prepare text messages, but it will alert you when you're receiving a call, text or email. The watch will serve as a portable desktop feature that you can access without having your phone.

The Watch will work with any BlackBerry with an operating system of 4.3. The features are pretty good (considering it's a watch). It comes with a glass lens, full metal body, vibrating motor, over-the-air firmware updates, and micro-usb for charging to name a few.

The The Allerta InPulse Bluetooth companion watch will be available for purchase in February, but you can pre-order it now for $150.

Personally, I think this would be a bit of a waste. I love my Blackberry, and it gives me all the alerts I need...
