Free VoIP on your cell? Sounds too good to be true? Well for most of us, it is. But if you have a Nokia phone and an unlimited data plan on your cell phone. Head on over and try it out.
Fring is a free service that lets you make voice calls with services like Skype, as well as send instant messages. It looks pretty interesting, but unfortunately we don't have a phone in our household that it will work on. They promise that more models will be added and you can sign up to be notified when your phone is supported.
We think it's potentially a great program, and can't wait to try it out. Let us know what you think if you're lucky enough to own one of the supported phones.
THis program is awesome. I run it on a nokia N95, its a true killer app. I hate sitting at my computer on Skype, but its nice to be able to be in my car and get a sykpe call. it works just fine on Cingular EDGE service. AWESOME
