MIMO 7" Monitor Adds Extra Space For Extras

101608_tf_mimo1.jpgExtra desktop space is, simply but, better. Much like the old adage of how nobody couldn't use more money, we here at Unplggd believe that nobody couldn't use more monitors. For all of the solutions to the problem; the Samsung dual monitor unit comes to mind, as does all of the problems associated with trying to sync a second display on your own you mentioned in our troubleshooting thread; this little 7" display they call MIMO seems like the easiest solution. Now all your widgets and buddy lists will have their own home with only a USB cord to connect. And how much? ...

101608_tf_mimo2.jpg101608_tf_mimo4.jpgThe MIMO display, a small, 7" LCD that connects to your computer as an additional monitor via a spare USB port, is surprisingly cheap. The basic, screen-only version is only $78, where as the more advanced UM-750 features a touchscreen, TV tuner and built-in webcam for only $147.

We think that's a pretty manageable amount for all that it provides you with that extra desktop real estate. It's Korea-only for now, but lets all cross our fingers and put it on our American wish lists.

ahhh amazing. I can already picture at least 3 of them on my desk, keeping all that annoying, small stuff a la widgets, stickies, skype boxes, etc... out of the way and leaving my main monitors for work..

ooh, and a touch screen one sitting right on top of my amp, with an old computer turned mp3 player/server hidden somewhere, would be delightful...!
