Asus Bamboo Laptop

2007_05_08 ecobook.jpg

Bamboo is beautiful. When we first saw this laptop, it was definitely the bamboo case that caught our attention. A peek inside however, reveals a recycled cardboard liner which is a subtle hint of the way that this notebook was designed and built.

All of the plastics inside are recyclable and no paints, sprays or electroplating are used on the components to make recycling easy. Additionally, the construction is completely modular, so damage to a specific piece means simply replacing that part rather than getting rid of the entire thing.

Unfortunately, this is not due to launch until next year so keep your eyes open.

Looks expensive. I also wonder how much power it will require...

I think I would probably drool all over it causing it to short circuit rapidly.

Breakfast in bed, a snuggle and then start the day the laptop way.
wheres the flower press? a thin plexi cover over the wood top could work as a flower press and a place to keep morning love notes, also would keep breakfast from ruining the moment.
