It looks like a regular router. But inside, it's got the most powerful antenna the FCC will allow. Thinkgeek claims that the Extreme Range Wifi Router will reach a quarter of a mile.

Maybe you don't need that in your 200 square foot apartment, but we've had signal problems before, even in small spaces. We like Thinkgeek's recommendation of using it outside of your apartment, say at a nearby park or coffee shop. Taking it with you definitely takes on a whole new meaning. However, it's not the cheapest solution, at $285, but who could put a pricetag on that much power?
