If your only computer is a laptop then a separate numeric keypad is an option that doesn't exist. When we work on our desktop machines we find it quite useful to have the separate number pad so it was nice to see the EZkey 2 in 1 mouse. The combination number pad and mouse provides full functionality of both, while minimizing the extra space required. A nice option for maintaining a clutter free desk.
