While the OLPC was praised for innovation and novel design, its inferior user interface was far surpassed by Asus' Eee. In a perfect world, they would have liked to have seen the design of the OLPC with a more user-friendly operating system.
What do you think? Have you bought either of these laptops?

Bear in mind that the XO laptop is designed for children in developing countries. For the intended audience, it's far more suitable than the Asus Eee PC. For an adult in a first-world country, the Asus delivers a more familiar user experience.
