Lenovo Thinkpad X300: It Fits in a Manila Envelope Too

Funny and true. While the MacBook air can fit in a Manila envelope, when you add the optical drive, and USB hub the game changes just a little bit.

While the Lenovo X300 doesn't even come close in the industrial design department, this is a clever way of making people consider other ultra portables without the same level of compromise as the MacBook Air.

If the macbook air was that thick, it'd all be in one package too.

True that, thecreativeisle.

The solution is not to eat for several months, if necessary, so that one can get both a MacBook Air and a fully equipped MacBook Pro for the real work.
If my Air does not come tomorrow, I will be more than a little grouchy. I am very much like a six year old waiting to open a stack of birthday presents.
I will be taking my new Air everywhere with me. The grownup version of Linus' security blanket.

I have had a Thinkpad that, while grey, is better for me and the type of work I do, fits my finger spread and . And my college roomie who LOVES Mac has to totally baby her Mac, whereas I've just about drop kicked my Thinkpad and it STILL WORKS! It's like a Volvo vs a dandelion.
