Maxtor Sentry Water and Fireproof Hard drive

We don't have a safe in our house, and sadly our software backup habits could use some help as well. Does this sound like an odd an unrelated statement? Not if you are interested in data backup and protecting that valuable data from fire or flood.

Sentry and Maxtor have teamed up to bring you a water and fireproof hard drive. $259 will get you 80 GB while $319 will get you 160 GB. Very pricey when compared to other hard drives of the same size but if you are really paranoid about mother nature runing your data then you either go this route or backup to a remote server in a secured building away from your home.
