With folks making desks from scratch up in here, a $60 wooden mousepad seems a tad outrageous. Granted, this one can angle up or hook on the edge of your desk to create a dedicated mousing zone, but I tend to prefer a flat pad anyways. The funny thing is, I still prefer this over the typical neoprene mouse pad. Maybe I'm just partial to wood, but this would be an easy enough DIY job. You only need a few easily accessible items.

My optical mouse goes crazy on a wood desk surface, so it wouldn't like this either. I'll stick to neoprene, thanks.
