Tetsuo Shibuya Drop Desk Accessory

041509dropidea.jpg
Japanese designer Tetsuo Shibuya came up with the Drop as a space efficient way to store away paper clips, using the normally unused space underneath desks with a colourful magnetic drip-drop form. But we also see these drop designs as an excellent way to wrap cords and cables under workstations since most cables need to travel underneath and around our desks, playing double duty in attractive form. Japanese design manufacturer Design Wave is supposedly considering taking these from concept to production, but for now like all too many good things, this is a design to just admire...
