Actually there are a number of companies making new vacuum tubes. There's been something of a resurgence in the high-end audio world, so you can get almost any model either as NOS or newly manufactured equivalents.

Hi Bolder- I was refering to nixie tubes which are a little different than audio vacuum tubes. Nixies have built in wires in the shapes of numbers and do not amplify sound- they are made for readouts only. I dont think anyone still makes them.
