Dream CAPTCHA: If Native Americans Worried About Spam

We love, love, love it when we can integrate techie inside jokes into home decor—this is Unplggd, after all. The Atmostheory Command Posters now have a permanent home in our office because we just couldn't resist their cheeky play on keyboard shortcuts (if you haven't seen these, you need to follow that link!). Now the Dream CAPTCHA aims to make a funny out of those tricky spambot-catcher codes you've been squinting at ("Is that a 3 or an 8?... Oh, it's a B.").

From Jeffrey Augustine, the Dream CAPTCHA plays on the spiritual function of a dream catcher—to weed out the bad dreams from the good and lock them up in a net above your sleeping head.

The name is a pun on the term for those tricky codes you curse at, "Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart."

We can only guess that the Dream CAPTCHA is supposed to keep the spambots from getting into your head, but it doesn't seem to be for sale. So for now, you'll just have to DIY if you've got evil spamming robot trolling your dreams. You know, or hire a psychiatrist.

Just make sure you get your beauty sleep.
