Expected Curtain

2007_12_11 curtain.jpgJust like coming back to a party in your own home....that you were not invited to....every day. While the Mongoose Studio Bright Blind we blogged about previously brings the thought of a beautiful bright day to a windowless room, the Expected Curtain just seems sad. Maybe we are missing the point of why this curtain was designed to only be visible when lit up from inside, but having motionless silhouettes of people in our windows when we arrive home at night is definitely more unnerving than welcoming.

It might be useful for someone who lives alone. The silhouettes give the impression that there are people present, and *might* deter burglars.

Guess it depends on how much you like surprise parties...you could open the door each day to feel relief that the people weren't actually there to disturb your peace and quiet.

That Mongoose blind looks pretty cool, would like it available in different window treatments.
