Pay Homage to the Gaming Gods With an Atari Triptych

Thanks to my extensive knowledge of art history, which I owe to attending an art academy for my high school years and also to mindlessly wandering through Wikipedia, I know that a triptych is a work of art which is divided into three sections, a large middle panel flanked by two smaller, but related, works. We get the triptych form from early Christian art, as it was a popular format for altarpieces in European churches and cathedrals. If it was good enough for the catholics of yesteryear to pay tribute to God, then it's good enough for today's WOW and Halo gamers to pay tribute to their forefather: The Atari.

"Mothership," by Jeff Bughouse is the Atari Triptych. A beautiful work of art in the form of heat transfer on wood that honors an Atari console flanked by two smaller, but related (See? Triptych!) Atari joysticks.
