1952 Philco TV Console Cabinet Converted Into Home Theater PC System

042108-unplggdphilco01.jpg"q240z" says he doesn't care for "the newfangled plastic cabinets" modern electronics come in (for the most part, we have to agree). So he took a 1952 Philco TV console cabinet he purchased for $40 from an estate sale, gutted it out (like we did in January), and retrofit it with a Sharp Aquos LCD and PC system. More info and a couple more photos under the jump...

the cabinet.

Oh my goodness, the wood grain on that cabinet is beautiful, is it solid wood, or a veneer? Excellent job on the conversion it looks amazing, I am totally jealous!
