DIY Cord Wrangler Hides Peripheral Wires

We all struggle sometimes with keeping a clean desk, some more than others. Me? I'm having an impossible time. I bought a great looking desk not too long ago, the only caveat being that it has no drawers. "No problem," I thought, "I have just a little laptop and not much to put in a desk drawer." Boy was I wrong. The worst part isn't pens or extra paper or files, it's the data cords that connect my camera, phone and iPod. The gadgets are with me most of the time, but I want the cords nearby my computer, the only place I use them. Also, I need them to be out-of-sight and not get tangled with each other. All you need is a wire coat hanger (in a color that might blend in with your monitor or desk, and a pair of pliers to bend it into little wiggly shapes that can hang all your extras.

The user at insrtuctables who came up with this DIY project, trainwiththorn, hangs the wrangler from the back of his monitor, but for those of us with laptops, I suggest letting it hang from just inside and under your desk, if possible. It keeps things looking neat and trim on top, while giving you easy access to your stuff.
