DIY Project: Create A Standing Desk From An Old IKEA Coffee Table

032409_an_diy_ikea_coffee_table_desk.jpgIf you have an old coffee table lying around, and happen to be in need of a new floor standing desk, take Sean's shining example and convert it into a snazzy living room workspace. By replacing the legs with 2x4's painted black, he's created a new home for his Macbook Pro, home office printer, and miscellaneous tech gear. Sure, there's some shameful wiring just begging for extra attention, but it's a great DIY conversion nonetheless. More goodies, after the jump.

032409_an_diy_ikea_coffee_table_desk3.jpgAnother clever idea happens to be seen in the background of the photo above; of road signs converted into makeshift foldout dining tables. Not only is it a highly effective solution and creative solution for small spaces, but it's cute and quirky, too!

"If you have an old coffee table laying around".... LYING around, LYING around, LYING around. Transitive verbs are extraordinarily easy to master, small children do it every day. Why is it so incredibly difficult for college graduates who are being paid to write to use standard, grammatically correct English? I'm embarrassed for you.

Terrible programing on E? Never. E! is the best of the best.

I really like the white coffee table.
