Ikea hacker reader Quari was looking for an angled laptop stand to keep in the kitchen. Partly for easier typing when searching for recipes and partly to keep the laptop cool. Turns out the Lamplig trivet from Ikea works perfectly.

At 20 inches long, it is large enough to accommodate most laptops, and the spaced stainless steel bars allow good airflow around the computer. To get the angle, rubber furniture feet were attached to one side to raise it up but it would probably be just as effective sitting flat when it comes to cooling your machine.
