Make Notebooks from Old VHS Cases

If you've amassed quite a collection of VHS tapes over the years but are slow to purge them for nostalgia's sake, try this fun project.

Turn your favorite movies into spiral bound notebooks with this DIY project from WhyIsThisOpen at Instructables.

The directions are pretty simple: Source a notebook, cut it to the size of a VHS tape, remove the spiral, cut the front of a VHS box, punch holes in it, re-spiral. Voila! Instant "Revenge of the Nerds" notebook.

You'll get your bookshelf back in no time now that you can feel good about purging those tapes—and you'll have some groovy new vintage movie notebooks. And yes, VHS tapes can be considered vintage now.
